Ben Cohen, one of the founders of Ben & Jerry's ice cream empire, has produced a provacative short outlining the size of America's nuclear stockpile (which is frighteningly excessive - far beyond what is necessary for either defense, or to destroy every other country on the planet). And the sad part is how many things could be improved if just some of the ongoing taxpayer money that is required to maintain this huge stockpile was put to other uses. What the US Military is calling "lack of communication" seems like a monumentally amateurish blunder as workers at an Iraqi airfield tear a big chunk of the runway out and don't mention it to the landing planes. End result: One totalled C-130 (at a cost of more than $30 Million US Taxpayer Dollars).
