Pope Caught Orchestrating Church Pedophile Cover Up

[Pubic Relations]
A BBC documentary has exposed that Pope Benedict XVI, aka Cardinal Ratzinger, played a leading role in a systematic cover-up of child sex abuse by Roman Catholic priests.

In 2001, while he was a cardinal, he issued a secret Vatican edict to Catholic bishops all over the world, instructing them to put the Church's interests ahead of child safety.

The document recommended that rather than reporting sexual abuse to the relevant legal authorities, bishops should encourage the victim, witnesses and perpetrator not to talk about it. And, to keep victims quiet, it threatened that if they repeat the allegations they would be excommunicated.

A movement among conservative pastors is afoot to drive their flock into the arms of the GOP. They declare that "they owe it to God and to their own moral principles to do everything they can to keep social conservatives in power."

These "patriot pastors" are intentionally pushing at the line laid down by a 1954 law preventing any tax-exempt organization from trying to affect the outcome of political campaigns.

In an attempt to encourage more Britons to go to church this Christmas, an image of Jesus Christ in the froth of a half empty pint of beer will be used on posters.

Pastor Francis said he "hoped the poster and accompanying radio advertisements would spark a debate about religion." The church will also use a Jesus MySpace Profile (Jesus hasn’t accepted my friend request), the social networking portal for teens, to promote the frosty miracle.

Now giving money to "God" is even easier than ever!

"It's truly like an ATM for Jesus," Baker said.

Justice Served: Christians Riot In The Streets

Six years ago, 3 Christian Indonesian militants orchestrated a series of attacks on Muslims that resulted in between 70 and 200 deaths. This violence was part of a larger wave that spanned several years and took the lives of more than 1000.

The three men - Fabianus Tibo, Marianus Riwu and Dominggus da Silva were tried, convicted and sentenced to death. After a few years of appeals and even an intervention from the Pope, the three men were put in front of the firing squad a few days ago.

As a result, thousands of Christians began rioting Friday in Sulawesi Indonesia to mark this horrible injustice. Mobs torched cars, looted Muslim-owned stores and freed hundreds of inmates by breaking the jail’s main gate. In addition, machete-wielding mobs ran through the streets of Flores sending women and children running.

Christians love to sarcastically claim Islam is the "Religion of Peace". In the spirit of that, let me say, "Praise Jesus! Religion of Peace!"

Public Expression of Religion Act = Gov. Mandated Religion

There is a very scary series of bills moving through both houses of Congress right now, and it's under the radar of the mainstream media (as usual). These bills are designed to keep people from taking legal action against the government in areas relating to the separation of church and state. As is typical, the name of the bill, "Public Expression of Religion Act of 2005" is totally bogus. The bill claims to give people the "freedom" to express religious views without fear of legal intimidation. What this translates to is special protection from repurcussions of extending religious influence and promotion in areas where it is illegal and unconstitutional!

Please take a closer look at this very, VERY dangerous legislation.

Update: This bill is now being called, "The Christian Supremacy Act" by people in politics.

Pope Urges Mankind To Choose Religion Over Science & Progress

Posted by Pile (7317 views) Add this story to MyYahoo Add this article to del.icio.us Submit article to Reddit Add story to Furl Add story to StumbleUpon [E-Mail link]

[Beating Dead Horses]
Pope Benedict XVI on Sunday warned modern societies not to let faith in science and technology make them deaf to God's message, and suggested that Asia and Africa could teach the wealthier West something about faith.

In his sermon to some 250,000 pilgrims at an open-air Mass in Munich, Benedict said modern people suffered from "hardness of hearing" when it comes to God.

"Put simply, we are no longer able to hear God - there are too many different frequencies filling our ears," he said. "What is said about God strikes us as pre-scientific, no longer suited to our age."

Hey, maybe the Pope finally gets it. When you live in a jungle or desert and have little to do but wake up each day and be surprised you're not dead from starvation or disease, you have to thank God. Everywhere else, where man understands the value of science and medicine to extend life and provide protection and security, the notion of believing in a supernatural being who never seems to be there when you need him, and giving money to a group of old guys who use it to pay off secret sex abuse lawsuits, might be obsolete.

It's no surprise that religion flourishes where human suffering is rampant. The pope points that out with a perverse sense of romanticism. Think about it.

What Would Jesus Wear? Armor of God Pajamas

Today is obviously goofy product day on BSA.

The Armor of God PJs were inspired by a mother reading Ephesians 6:10-18 every night to her daughter to give her a safe and secure feeling in the dark. As they read the scriptures, they put on each spiritual and powerful piece of the Armor of God to keep them safe and peaceful while they slept. At that moment, God gave me the idea of how wonderful [and personally profitable] it would be if all children could have the opportunity to put on a pair of pajamas that symbolized the Armor of God so that their belief in Jesus will make them safe [and me rich!]

I wonder if someone is going to create another set of PJs based on Exodus 11, Lev 26, Deuteronomy 28:56, 2Kings, Isaia 14:21, Matthew 10:21, and Mark 7 (Jesus reaffirms his commandment that disobedient children be put to death) -- that should make for a sound, restful sleep.

When Alcoholics Anonymous and other 12-step programs are examined in controlled studies, a new review reports, scientists find no proof that they are superior to any other intervention in reducing alcohol dependence or alcohol-related problems.

The researchers, led by Marica Ferri of the Italian Agency for Public Health in Rome, found little to suggest that 12-step programs reduced the severity of addiction any more than any other intervention. And no data showed that 12-step interventions were any more or any less successful in increasing the number of people who stayed in treatment or reducing the number who relapsed after being sober.

It's really great that these 12,000 church members can't think of any better uses for 2.5 million dollars than building a statue commingling religion and nationalism. After all, there probably aren't any poor or sick people in Memphis to tend to, as Christ asked his followers to do.

Forget the campaign forecasting of the pundits and pollsters. Gov. Ed Rendell might have God on his side.

During a voter awareness event in the Capitol Rotunda on Tuesday, the incumbent Democrat received word via a Lycoming County minister — a registered Republican, no less — that God has “decreed” he will be re-elected to a second term.

“I was a little stunned, to be honest,” a smiling governor said afterward.

The campaign bombshell was dropped by the Rev. Carl Vining, pastor of the nondenominational House of Judah Ministries in Montgomery and a chaplain-on-call for the state Senate.

As the reverend introduced Mr. Rendell to a packed Rotunda, he told those gathered that “the God of Israel” recently sent word through him on the outcome of this year’s gubernatorial election.

“The God of Israel said, ‘One more term,’” the Rev. Vining told Mr. Rendell.

Ok, this is a great story, and it shows how much balls the Europeans have when it comes to freedom of speech and journalism. What's happened is that a Danish newspaper published a characature of Mohammed, the Muslim prophet. Well, Muslims all over the world were outraged and Danish reporters have had to go into hiding over death threats; countries like Saudi Arabia and others are initiating elaborate boycotts of anything and everything Danish as a result of the newspaper's action. Apparently, reproducing any imagine of Mohammed is some sort of grave sin.

However in protest of the Muslim upheval against Denmark, newspapers across Europe have shown the balls that are now non-existent in Western journalism to publish charactures of a variety of religious figures including Mohammed. Where's the American media in all of this? Probably checking with Federal Express, the CATO institute, and Chase Bank to find out what they should print.

Germany's Die Welt daily printed one of the drawings on its front page, arguing that a "right to blasphemy" was anchored in democratic freedoms.

Texas Republican candidate for Governor, songwriter, rancher, secret agent, Star Locke has some rather radical ideas for his state and the country: 100% tax on violent video games and toys, and a $10,000 charge per aborted fetus, take away money from schools and use it to take control of the Alcohol and Beverage Commission, and force all schools to serve high protein meals. He even has a program to save taxpayer dollars, whereupon anyone who comes up with an idea to save taxpayer dollars, gets 75% of those save dollars and the other 25% go back to the government. Huh?

Oh yea, there's also that bit on the web site about how he was hired by the government to assassinate Fidel Castro.

[Beating Dead Horses]
An Italian judge has ordered a priest to appear in court this month to prove that Jesus Christ existed.

The case against Father Enrico Righi has been brought in the town of Viterbo, north of Rome, by Luigi Cascioli, a retired agronomist who once studied for the priesthood but later became a militant atheist.

Signor Cascioli, author of a book called The Fable of Christ, began legal proceedings against Father Righi three years ago after the priest denounced Signor Cascioli in the parish newsletter for questioning Christ’s historical existence.

Catechumen is a first person action/adventure Christian game where your goal is to defeat the forces of evil, descending deeper into the depths of the Earth and rescue your captured brethren.

Kind of ironic that smiting people causes your faith to drain and you need more faith to go on to more smiting.

No word if the level bosses are ACLU members, PETA, Democrats or Activist Judges.

For the first time in Carnival’s 150-year history, city and krewe leaders will seek corporate sponsors to underwrite the huge cost of staging “the Greatest Free Show on Earth.”

Any acceptable company that steps forward with $2 million to help pay for police overtime, fire protection, and sanitation during next year’s abbreviated eight-day Carnival will be crowned the “official sponsor of Mardi Gras 2006,” the Mayor Ray Nagin’s office said.

In a related story, Nagin has announced that Easter is for sale for $350,000, Christmas is offered at $1 Million and there's a two-for-one special on St. Patrick's Day and Passover.
