Check out this hilarious video from the Colbert report where he questions Georgia republican congressman Lynn Westmoreland about the 10 Commandments. Westmoreland claims a law is needed to rebuff the "judicial activism" that is attempting to erase God from U.S. history and is author of a bill to REQUIRE the display of the ten commandments in courthouses.

A woman in Alcoa, TN, was arrested recently for assaulting her own mother. She was angry at her mother for allegedly destroying her Bible. The beating continued until the mother called the police, who arrested the daughter with some difficulty.

Apparently she missed those parts of the Bible about honoring thy father and mother. But hey, that's not one of the more well-known parts of the Bible, is it? I mean, it's never been in a movie with Charleton Heston or anything.
