Before You Enlist! provides a rational voice to counter the seductive and often deceptive recruiting practices of the U.S. military. Two United States Senators implicated in extramarital sexual activity have named themselves as co-sponsors of S. J. RES. 43, dubbed the Marriage Protection Amendment. If ratified, the bill would amend the United States Constitution to state that marriage "shall consist only of the union of a man and a woman."

Sen. Larry Craig (R-ID), who was arrested June 11, 2007 on charges of lewd conduct in a Minneapolis airport terminal, is co-sponsoring the amendment along with Sen. David Vitter (R-LA), whom in July of 2007, was identified as a client of a prostitution firm owned by the late Deborah Jeane Palfrey, commonly known as The DC Madam.

In so many eloquent words, Barak Obama admits he thought he's seen every dirty political trick, until the other day when Bush spoke in front of Israel's parliament and compared the Democrats to the Nazis.

Is this the kind of "Change you deserve?" A president that goes overseas and during at time of another nation's holiday, decides to air his party's political dirty laundry to the middle east? Classy.

[News Media]
In the wake of the latest exhibit of true journalism by what appears to be the only real journalist left in the Washington Press Corps, we proclaim April 25 HELEN THOMAS (True Journalist) DAY!

While other networks talk about steroids in sports or dogs who can ride a skateboard or American Idol, Helen Thomas is the only real news reporter left in the White House Press Corps.

More than a week after the revelation that President Bush knew and endorsed specific plans of torturing detainees, the media has been largely silent over it other than cursory mentions at best. But Helen Thomas isn’t about to go silently into that good night and becomes the first White House reporter to ask White House spokesliar Dana Perino about how the president could have lied multiple times that we do not torture only to turn around and admit that not only do we, but he approved of it.

In case you missed it, Rush Limbaugh, the oxycotin-taking conservative talk radio host, was urging Republicans in Texas and Ohio to skip their party's primary on March 4 and instead cast a vote for Hillary Clinton in order to prolong the fight between her and Barack Obama. And that Tuesday, as media in both states reported, thousands of Republicans did just what Limbaugh and others had suggested -- they changed parties to vote for Clinton.

One problem. That's basically illegal. And now the board of elections is looking into a criminal investigation of the matter.
