Senator Al Franken asks the attorney for KBR/Halliburton a few questions regarding the current bill he authored before congress that 30 Republicans voted against. It seems pretty simple: Franken believes the government should not do business with companies that force their employees to take serious criminal matters to private arbitration in lieu of actual justice. In this case, a woman who was brutally gang raped and locked inside a storage container fights for her right to face her accusers in court. Watch as KBR's attorney tries to defend their bizzare stance on the issue.

When you think the left has no balls, take a look at this video of a single brave man who had the guts to show up at one of Glenn Beck's coalition of crazy people holding a sign that says, "Public Option Now!"

After being attacked and spit upon, he eventually completes his march through the protest with the help of several armed policemen. It's pretty amazing to watch the amount of hatred and vitriol spewed at this guy who is merely expressing an opinion.

[Environment]
The Center for Inquiry recently did an investigation into the credentials and references of a U.S. Senate Minority Report criticizing legislation to help address global climate change. The GOP-led report cited close to 700 people as being references for their position. After review, more than 80% of these so-called "scientists" had no peer reviewed work published.

As usual, it seems to be an amazing coincidence that the vast majority of "experts" in the field that claim global climate change is not a man-made event, nor threatening, just so happen to be tied to various lobbying organizations.
