Um... Posted by Master Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi on 2005-06-15 17:22:00 | That is a bit weird... I would think people's behavior is changing because they love their pets... you know that feeling you get because your pets are sooooo cute? Yeah, I think half of Britian's population is undergoing THAT and not this toxoplasma gondii what-not. |
crazy, but can't find any reason to dismiss Posted by Pile on 2005-06-16 11:24:08 | admittedly this whole story stounds like complete BS, but the more I look into it, the more there does seem to be a legitimate parasitic infection, see the CDC page on Toxoplasmosis. |
Maybe Real Posted by Lizzzo on 2005-06-18 20:09:27 | I think this is very permissable. I'm not a scientist, I havn't even graduated high school yet, but I think it could actually be true. Advice to the people in Britain: Only get a cat if you don't like your personality. |
Posted by Joe on 2005-06-19 02:24:49 | Is this a pandora's box? Is this one of those stories that the media won't cover? It sure seems like a pretty newsworthy issue. Yea, it does seem crazy, but there's too much information out there which indicates this is a legitimate issue. I don't have any cats, but it's unlikely I would be ingesting their feces so i'm not worried, which is a same, because I could use it as an excuse as to why I haven't cleaned my house as often. |
