U.S. Republican candidate for Senate and total right-wing nutball Alan Keyes said Saturday that children raised by gay couples faced "inevitable" incest because they might not know who their siblings are. Said Keyes, "If we do not know who the mother is, who the father is, without knowing all the brothers and sisters, incest becomes inevitable."

Apparently he didn't consider that--if that were true--the same would be true for any adoptees who didn't know their biological parents, including those raised by straight parents.

Um, and then there are the gay couples who have children that are biologically related to one parent. And the ones who know the identities of the birth parents.

Perhaps Mr. Keyes should look up the word "inevitable."
