[Movies]
Newsweek has a list of the Top 10 Most Disappointing Movies of 2004 [that their parent companies likely aren't involved in]. Personally, I don't think you could even compile a Top 10 list of the movies in 2004 that DID NOT suck.

1. The Village
2. Van Helsing
3. Alexander
4. The Alamo
5. Dogville
6. Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow
7. Silver City
8. A Very Long Engagement
9. The Terminal
10. De-Lovely

IMO, "A Series of Unfortunate Events" is also worthy of being on this list.

I agree with you completely Most movies are terrible, they have bad plots and gigantic love scenes in which the two worst actors of the movie stair into each others eyes for what seem like hours. And jump from one bad scene to another. absolutely terrible.

Series of Unfortunate Events was a good movie. It was not your usual run of the mill kids show. I liked it because it appealed to both adults and children. If you are going to be so negative about movies then quit going to theater to see them and stick to renting the old classics if that is what appeals to you. I am sure Blockbuster would welcome you with open arms.

I felt Series of Unfortunate Events didn't do justice to the book, and was too rushed.
