Michael Moore came to the California Capitol on Tuesday and seemed to succeed on two fronts: promoting his new documentary on the ills of the American health care system, and rallying for a proposal to do away with health insurance companies and create a system in which government pays all medical bills, no questions asked.

Check out the video. It is very compelling!

Michael Moore testifying before a California legislative session on healthcare reform. He talks about the first clip in our article as being the incentive for creating "Sicko".

This is a horror movie

"Sicko" is basically a horror movie.

Seriously, after you see it and you realize how easy it is for HMO's to deny treatment, or look over your application and find some little item they can use against you, we're all screwed. None of us really have ANY guaranteed healthcare in the states. The HMOs can find some issue with your application and pretty much deny coverage any time they want. Roll the dice, America. Roll the dice. As long as it doesn't affect you, you f*cking morons don't care.. but wait until snake-eyes comes up for you... this is a scary movie.
